BROADWAY MELODY OF 1940 (1940, Norman Taurog, 102 min.)

Fred Astaire, Eleanor Powell, George Murphy, and Frank Morgan star in this tale of a pair of unsuccessful Broadway hoofers trying to make it to the Great White Way. Mistaken identities and the girl of everyone’s dreams complicate matters. Astaire and Powell make a fantastic dance team.
