ROC City Coalition and
the Eastman Young Professionals would like to invite you to
support the first annual ROC City Rising Event on March
19th. This celebration will bring together and
highlight the rising stars of our community and enable these
young professionals to network and meet Rochester’s most
established leaders.
The ROC City
Coalition and The Eastman Young Professionals, two
premiere young professional organizations, are in collaboration
to present “ROC City Rising 2008.” This annual
event is being established to celebrate individuals who
demonstrate excellence in local leadership. We hope that this
event will forge new relationships between the emerging and
established professionals, help encourage our young professionals
to remain active in the community, and promote growth in the
local business sectors of the Greater Rochester
Area.
We are pleased to
announce that the Honorary Host Committee for ROC City Rising is
comprised of Mayor Robert Duffy, County Executive Maggie Brooks,
Susan Robfogel (Chair of the Eastman House Board of Trustees),
and Arunas Chesonis (CEO of PAETEC). They join us in inviting
you to what will become an anticipated event in the Rochester
community.
The ROC City
Rising event will be held at the George Eastman House from
5:30-7:30pm on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. In addition to
celebrating those individuals who demonstrate excellence in local
leadership, the announcement of new community initiatives that
will support new levels of collaboration between young
professionals and established community leaders will be
