ROC The Day
From December 11, 2013 through December 11, 2013 at roctheday.org
ROC the Day is an epic, one-day giving event on Wednesday, December 11, starting at 12:00 a.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m. for the entire nine-county Greater Rochester region. It's 24 hours of unprecedented giving. You can ROC The Day by giving to causes that mean the most to you.
Help us launch a new program to provide enriching and educational experiences to low income families in the philanthropic spirit of George Eastman.
Visit roctheday.org/eastmanhouse for more information.
George Eastman valued excellence and innovation, and wanted Rochester to be the best city in which to live and work. As a result, he gave most of his philanthropic fortune to the city’s organizations and established the Community Chest, which is today’s United Way.
The museum advances George Eastman’s legacy by presenting world-class exhibitions, educational programs, artist lectures, and film series in the Dryden Theatre. Renowned globally, Eastman House provides those in our hometown with a front seat to the world of photography and film.
We want to make these experiences accessible to everyone in our community. Your donation will support a new program offering free museum admission to under-privileged families. Please help us bring enriching cultural experiences to those who would not otherwise have that opportunity.
