Senior Citizens Matinee: Leave Her To Heaven
On Monday September 13, 2010 at 1:30 pm in Dryden Theatre
LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN (1945, John M. Stahl, 110 min.)
The top box-office hit of the 1940s, this is the darkest of film noirs in the brightest of Technicolor. Gene Tierney is gorgeously twisted. (She got the Academy Award’s Best Actress nomination.) She loves Cornel Wilde sooo much—TOO much, in fact. Her uncontrollable jealousy means NO ONE comes between them. This film gives new meaning to the phrase “Until death do us part.”
About Senior Citizen Matinees
