THE LITTLE PRINCESS (1939, Walter Lang, 93 min.)
One of the biggest stars of the 1930s, Shirley Temple sings and dances in full Technicolor for the first time in this adaptation of the Francis Hodgson Burnett novel. Ten-year-old Shirley plays Sara Crewe, a girl left at a boarding school while her father fights in the Boer War. In this timeless fairy tale, the young actress charms audiences both young and old alike.
