Stacey Doyle and Ken Fox, project archivists in the Moving Image Department, will discuss the essential role of manuscript collections in a moving image archive and how these items are handled by archivists.

Thousands of Pipes and Miles of Wires: An Exclusive Look at the Eastman House Pipe Organ (Members Only)

After working on the restoration of the Aeolian pipe organ, Joe Blackburn, Richard Butts, and Steven Kelly have extensive knowledge of how these mighty instruments function. James Layton and David Pierce, authors of The Dawn of Technicolor (Rochester, NY: George Eastman House, 2015), will discuss the origins of the Technicolor Motion Picture Corporation and its processes, illustrating their talk with rare photographs and documents from the Technicolor Corporate Archive.
