Organized to complement two concurrent exhibitions (Curse of the Black Gold: 50 Years of Oil in the Niger Delta and West African Masquerade: Photographs by Phyllis Galembo featuring photographs of Africa, this slice of our collection presents work made by journalists, tourists, artists, and ethnographers, including photographs by Mary Ellen Mark, Arnold Newman, Margaret Bourke-White, and Nickolas Muray. There will also be several albums on display, including one that belonged to George Eastman.
