A comprehensive yet lighthearted look at the role of food and its visuality in human life, featuring its functional, aesthetic, political and symbolic aspects. Drawing on such luminaries as Edward Weston, August Sander and Nicholas Muray, the exhibition will consider photographs from the worlds of art, advertising, photojournalism and popular culture. Food, Glorious Food will be accompanied by a family guide to the exhibition, a handbook of public program suggestions and the support of George Eastman House staff.
