Rain Location

Everyone who has ever attended a Garden Vibes concert would agree: it is truly a magical experience—good friends, beautiful scenery, and wonderful music. Unfortunately, Mother Nature does not always cooperate. So…

What if it rains?

The concert will be held in the Museum’s Dryden Theatre.

Who makes the decision to move the concert indoors and when?

For the safety and comfort of our artists and audience, Museum staff will make a weather call at 3 p.m. on the afternoon of the concert. That decision will be recorded on our Garden Vibes hotline at (585) 271-3361 ext. 444.

How are the theater’s acoustics?

With recent technical upgrades, the Dryden Theatre provides a superb sound experience. Many people have told us that they truly enjoy the intimacy with the performers and the sound in the Dryden!

Can I still picnic in the theater?

Sorry, no outside food or drink is allowed in the Dryden Theatre; however, our Eastman House Café offers a variety of snacks and beverages that may be purchased for enjoyment in the theater.

May I still purchase tickets at the door?

Yes, advance purchase is not required. But if you prefer, advance tickets may be purchased online at www.eastmanhouse.org.

Why shouldn’t I just stay home?

This series is all about the music! We always anticipate a perfect evening for Garden Vibes, but it doesn’t always work out that way. Don’t let a little bad weather prevent you from enjoying great music; you’ll enjoy it!
