A three-day festival at George Eastman House, which climaxes with an all-day string-band concert on Sunday, Sept. 16. The Friday and Saturday events include an exhibition of rare banjos and ephemera at the museum and ongoing film screenings featuring traditional performers in the Curtis Theatre. book, The Birth of the Banjo, in the Curtis Theatre.

Running in Eastman House's Curtis Theatre will be a series of films documenting
the best of America's rich folk music history, with a special emphasis on the banjo. Films will be
accompanied by a display of rare banjos and related ephemera. Included with Museum admission.
