W.M. Hunt gives an exhibition tour to the Museum's gallery docents in preparation for the exhibition, The Unseen Eye: Photographs from the W.M. Hunt Collection, on view October 1, 2011–February 19, 2012.

Between the States: Photographs of the American Civil War presented a selection of rare photographs in the George Eastman House collections. On display February 11–June 12, 2011. The Museum's Civil War series of exhibitions and programs was sponsored in part by the J.P. Morgan Chase Foundation, the Elaine P. and Richard U. Wilson Foundation, and HCR Home Care.

This work by Oscar Palacio, CANNON, GETTYSBURG NATIONAL MILITARY PARK, PA, 2009, from the series History Re-visited, was part of the exhibition Still Here: Contemporary Artists And The Civil War, on display February 11–June 12, 2011.

Norman Rockwell: Behind the Camera, on view at Eastman House June 25 –September 18, 2011, was organized by the Norman Rockwell Museum, Stockbridge, MA. The exhibition at George Eastman House was sponsored by M&T Bank.
