This ca. 1930 trick photograph by an unidentified photographer was loaned by Eastman House to the Metropolitan Museum of Art exhibition Faking It: Manipulated Photography Before Photoshop from October 11, 2012, through January 27, 2013.

The museum’s 35mm print of Goldstein (Philip Kaufman and Benjamin Manaster, US 1964), preserved in 2011, was screened at the Museum of Modern Art in April 2012.

The museum’s 35mm preservation print of A Page of Madness (Kurutta ippêji, Teinosuke Kinugasa, Japan 1926) screened at four venues worldwide in 2012, including Festival des 3 Continents (France) in November.

The museum’s 35mm print of The Remains of the Day (James Ivory, US 1993), donated by the director, screened at TIFF Cinematheque in June 2012.

A wet plate stereoscopic camera manufactured by John Stock & Co., ca 1864, was loaned to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for the exhibition War/Photography: Photographs of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath, on display from November 11, 2012, through February 3, 2013.
